Detroit Lakes, Minnesota

                                                                        January 2, 2007

            The regular and annual meeting of the City Council was called to order in the Council Chambers of the City Administration Building at 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 2, 2007, all members of the Council having been duly notified of the meeting and the business to be transacted.

            Present:            Mayor Larry G. Buboltz; City Administrator Richard Grabow;  Assistant City Administrator Lynne Krieger; Police Chief Kelvin Keena.

                                    Aldermen:         Anderson, Aune, Brenk, Hannon, Heltemes, Imholte, Tollefson, Tucker and Zeman.

            Absent:             City Attorney William Briggs; Community Development Director Larry Remmn; Public Utilities Superintendent Curt Punt; City Engineer Gary Nansen; Building Official Calvin Mayfield; Liquor Store Manager Bradley MacMaster and Fire Chief Jeffrey        Swanson.

            Mayor Buboltz administered the oath of office to Aldermen:  David Aune; Matt Brenk; Leonard Heltemes; Walter Tollefson and G.L. Tucker who were elected to their prospective offices at the City Election.

            Mayor Buboltz then adjourned the City Council Meeting at 5:07 P.M. and advised that the regular business of the City Council will be presented at the January 9, 2007, City Council Meeting at 5:00 P.M.
