DETROIT LAKES DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

MEMBERS ABSENT:      Tim Olson, Mark Hagen,. Greg Hildenbrand

OTHERS PRESENT:       Larry Remmen, Community Development Director,  Nancy Wichmann, Richard Grabow,

I.       Call To Order:

          Chairman Jim Anderson called the meeting of the Detroit Lakes Development Authority to order at 4:30 PM in the Conference Room of the City Administration Building, 1025 Roosevelt Avenue on Tuesday, February 6, 2007. All members of the Authority have been duly notified of the meeting and the business to be transacted.

II.     MINUTES:

        Upon review of the minutes dated January 16th, 2007 a correction was made on page two, item B to read Tower Road Industrial Park.  A motion was made by Commissioner Dixie Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Tom Klyve and carried without a dissenting vote to approve the minutes of the regular meeting dated January 16, 2007 as corrected.

III.    FINANCIALS

A.      Approval Of Financial Reports & Payment Of Claims For The Period Ending December 31, 2006

          A motion was made by Commissioner Matt Brenk, seconded by Commissioner Dixie Johnson and carried to approve the financial report and payment of claims for the period ending December 31, 2006.

IV.    OLD BUSINESS:

A.      Consideration to the setting sales price and policies relative to Detroit Lakes North Industrial Park – First Addition

          It was unanimously agreed to defer this item until all Development Authority members were present for discussion.

V.      NEW BUSINESS:

A.      Consideration to the preliminary plat of the Tower Road Industrial Park

          The Authority reviewed the preliminary plat of the Tower Road Industrial Park. Larry Remmen suggested lot 10 be shifted to the east making lots 10 and 11about 2 acres each.  The preliminary plat will go before the Planning Commission for review and then to the City Council.  A motion was made by Commissioner Tom Klyve seconded by Commissioner Matt Brenk and carried unanimously to approve the preliminary plat of Tower Road Industrial Park as presented. 

B.      Review of Detroit Lakes Development Authority Annual Report

          Larry Remmen presented and reviewed the 2006 Development Authority Annual Report.  A motion was made by Commissioner Matt Brenk, seconded byCommissioner Dixie Johnson and carried unanimously to approve the 2006 Annual Report as presented. 

C.      OTHER

          The next meeting date of the Development Authority has been changed to Wednesday, February 21^st at 3:30.

VI.    ADJOURNMENT

        There being no further business to bring before the Board, the meeting was         adjourned.
